The Anatomy of a Shredder online course is designed so that new hires and front office staff will understand the material, and veteran shredder operators will learn new tips. This course covers how to maximize the life of your equipment, optimize output, and troubleshoot common problems. The course content is provided by Randy Brace, President, Riverside Engineering who designs, operates, and maintains shredders in the recycling industry.

The course consists of 8 chapters including an introduction, safety information, shredder terminology, rotor types, rotor bearing mounting options, shredder sizing and performance, shredder improvements and a bolt torque table. There are videos and learning quizzes along the way. Expect to spend about 1.5 hours to complete the course. You may come and go as your schedule permits but remember you only have 90 days to finish from the date of purchase.
